Denny's Restaurant

I was at Denny's restaurant at Queen/Airport Rd on Aug 14th and ordered bacon and eggs. The bacon is so small that you don't even get a taste! I mentioned this to the server and she said that she is embarassed to serve anything with bacon as the pieces are so small. The service was great and the server was very friendly. I won't ever order bacon again. Too bad the server is going to be embarrassed everytime she has to serve this. Not fair to her.

The prices are enormously high.....I pay was less for a BIG BREAKFAST anywhere else. NOT GOING BACK THERE FOR SURE. I SHOULD HAVE STAYED HOME AND MADE THAT NO MEAT BREAKFAST FOR 1.50 INSTEAD OF 9.99..

I just happened across this site and found the various comments interesting.
I have eaten there more than once and just like any place it has its quiet days and it has it's busy days. I have never encountered unfriendly service and the food is satisfactory for the type of restaurant we are talking about.
If you want spectacular food may I suggest saving up and making some reservations downtown at the Royal York. As far as the server named Erica I am sure I know who you are talking about as she has been there for awhile now and is one of Denny's best waitresses. She is friendly, and always has a smile to brighten your day. If you are too sick to wait for a meal to arrive maybe you should stay home and have someone serve you in bed. Keep up the good work guys. Louise

Ok...took my pregnant wife there today at lunch hour for a late breakfast cause she was craving one of thier omelette's. I had never been to a Denny's in my life so i thought i would try it out. I WILL NEVER GO TO ANOTHER DENNY'S EVER AGAIN!!! I ordered a grand slam, or should i say a strikeout! The food was terrible, the hash browns are flavourless, the bacon was pure fat, and the eggs, well you cant really screw up eggs so i cant say anything bad about those. The toast i was served dripped butter on the plate. They charged us 3.09 for a glass of juice, 2.20 for a coffee the size of a small from Tim Hortons. All in ALL It was 35$ better spent ANYWHERE ELSE!! DENNY'S SUCKS!

Terrible breakfast for expensive prices. Many other places to go in the area with much better food for half the price. If your in the hunt for breakfast, avoid this place at all costs.

ITS AWSOME. I've been going their for several years now and the service and food is spectacular. Sure at times the service might be a bit poor and the food is not what you expected, but hey, you have to look around. There are a lot of other customers too, the service people are trying their best to give you what you want, and the cooks are in way more pressure for making all of the food. You have to keep these things in mind.

I would not go here again. Customer Service was terrrible. My friend and I waited close to 1 hour and realized that people who came in much later than us were being served first. We were just about to leave when the server looked over at our table and panicked because he realized our order was never filled. The food brought out to us was nothing to write home about and certainly didnt warrant the unexceptable wait time. Also, the server never acknowledged his poor service, he was too busy in the kitchen chatting up with his buddies. I avoid this place, there are several other restaurants in the area that I'd rather go to and spend my hard earned money.

This dennys is acctuly a very good Dennys i been there alot and i seemed to get good service and everything the food was good and lots of food items. I dont get what you guys are talkin about bad service and stuff. maybe you guys got service because you were being rude or somthing but w/e i dont kno what really happened that day and maybe another reason there wasnt many servers because maybe they were hiring at the time. So relax.I found this dennys a very good one. Maybe Erica was a bad server i dont know but if your goin to complain so much then go to the manager and see what they have to say but just to let you know if they keep erica as a server then don't be mad and take it against the manager because maybe you were the only one complian about erica and maybe others said she was a good server or nothing at alot because life isnt fair and the majority wins. IT SUCKS. BAD FOOD. BAD SERVICE. DON'T GO THERE

I had been to Denny's this morning and I beleive that discrimination according to skin colour exist there. My husband was fasting becasue he ahd to give blood so he decided that we should go to the above Denny's. We3 were placed at a table and the third couple who came in after us was served but we hept on being ignore.I had to ask the greeter to ask the waitress to come and take our order. The three servers looked at us after my request and one of them came she took our order and tehn served us coffee and juice. I wated for half an hour and the other customers who came in after us were already served. My husband said wait another 15 minutes and then ask here. I waited from 1100 to 1145 and when I asked the server for a bill to pay for the coffee and juice becasue we cannot wait any longer and other customers have been served who came in aster us. She went and checked the orders and told us that our order was misplaced and she would not charge us for the bill. I strongly believe that one of the three servers destroyed our bill. She was the tallest of the three on Friday June 29, 2007 during 1100-1145. We were never offered the meal and were casually dismissed. I was very disappointed in this service hence I am writing this review and I am sending a copy to the manager. Our server was Erica. I expect Denny's to improve on their customer service. Luckily I did not ask for the Manager because my husband was really feeling weak.
